It’s very exciting for me to welcome you to the new Mars Venus Living online magazine.

Every day, week, and month of the year, we will bring you the very best ideas, and all the latest news you can use to live a life filled with love, health, and happiness.

I have always wanted to focus a part of my energies on a magazine devoted to the pursuit of healthier lives and happier relationships for all. This online endeavor—this eZine—is the begins that new effort.

Frankly, I can’t imagine a better time to bring this forth.

The economic news of late has been a steady diet of doom and gloom. The silver lining in all this turmoil is that pain motivates change. That call for change right now is ringing out from every corner of our great nation. As we begin the era of a new presidential administration, one that promises to be substantially different from any other administration that preceded it, we can see the forces of change taking shape.

More than anything else, this is a call to create change in all our lives. In my view of the world, true change starts with the love in your relationship. Giving love and making a difference in the lives of others are essential parts of our higher calling.

In truth, our fulfillment does not come from making money. No one at the very end of life talks about stocks they should have bought or sold, or real estate that offers a good chance for rapid growth. What they talk about is all those who they have loved in their lives and all those who have loved them. In pursuit of the ideal that all of us deserve happy relationships, I have devoted much of my life’s work. Another principal focus of Mars Venus Living is an ongoing examination of how we can live healthier lives.

And to celebrate the universal day of love, we’ve added “countdown tips” to the end of every article (see below) which will ensure that Valentine’s Day 2009 is your most memorable.

The success that you experience in your relationships — and just about every other aspect of your life — is largely dependent on your health. From eating right to managing stress, we can have a life full of love and happiness – that is, if we know how to take care of ourselves and how to nurture and care for our relationships.

Come back and visit us regularly, and click here to send me your thoughts on what you enjoyed and what you would like to see more of in Mars Venus Living: your place for the best relationships on Earth.

All the best,

John Gray

MVL Valentine’s Day Countdown Tip #1:

Just Desserts

Love is a dish best served warmly: from the loving arms of one beloved to another. Even if you aren’t the best cook in the world, on this special day try showing your love with with a tasty treat. It doesn’t have to be a complicated dish (in other words, save any untested recipe for crème brûlée for another occasion) but something sweet and simple: say, an ice cream sundae for two. For a Valentine’s spin, consider sprinkling with pink M&Ms and drizzling with cherry sauce as opposed to hot fudge. Then again, go for both! And remember: presentation is everything. Serve it in a special occasion dish. Don’t have one? Buy one that wil make your partner smile.
