In this second video presentation on the principle topics in John Gray’s upcoming book, Venus on Fire, Mars on Ice, John discusses the important roles that testosterone play in the lives of men, and oxytocin play in the lives of women.
There is a silent epidemic of decreased hormones in both men and women. In fact, the hormone level of a 40-year-old man is the same of a 70 year-old-man a generation ago.
Why is this happening?
Many of the causes are environmental. What you can you about it? Discuss hormone balance with your doctor, and educate yourself as to the foods you eat, and where they are grown. A well-balanced diet that has less sugar and animal fat is a great start.
This fall, John will be on tour in conjunction with this new book. He will also be taping a PBS special. To find out more, check out John’s events page.
